Once there were ten tigers
living in a den.
They are always making awful din
with the tins.
They liked to hit the metal wares
with the medals.
There were many things they like
to do together in unison.
They felt sad if they sat
in the den doing nothing.
They liked to make a long trip
until they dripped so much.
Then they got the tips to go
somewhere for a dip.
They liked to play the game, hit-and-hide.
They really thought the game,
tie-and-die, really fun.
The ten tigers really had a good time
there and then.

Once there was a woman called Tidy.
She always pedalled around
to sell flowers with petals.
She easily moved to tears
when she saw her children dear
good and obedient.
She always pedalled hard to go downtown
to sell flowers with petals.
To ride her old bicycle around
to sell flowers was like a rite in life
she had to perform daily.
Sometimes when wild dogs chased her,
she would beat them with a string of beads
if she needed.

Tidy always told her children stories
when she was free.
The children liked to listen to the story
about an old man.
He wanted to wear his only tie
when he was about to die.
They liked the story
about an old woman, too.
She always cooked food
in a pot without a lid.
But when she thought
the pot needed a lid
to cook well.
She lit the candle to look for it.
