Oyee, Ozee’s sister, has a pet owl called Howhow (ˈhauhǝu).
Howhow has brown feathers and two big round eyes.
She likes to perch on the branch of a tree
to look at the crowd.
She only comes down to the ground for a while
when Oyee is around.
Ozee always thinks Oyee’s pet owl (/au l/),
Howhow as stiff as a king
with a big crown on his head in a story.

Ozee’s younger brother, Oho has
a pet mouse called How-our (/ˈhauau/).
How-our is very scared of
Loho’s pet hound (/h au nd/) called Pound.
He always shivered
when he hears Pound, the hound, howls.
How-our always stays in the house
when Pound, the hound is around.
He does not even dare to stay
in the mouse-hole
in a mound outside the house.
He would only go to see his friend, Dowl (/daul/), a fowl
when Pound, the hound is not around.

He always wears a blouse and a gown.
He likes to powder himself all over.
Then he wipes himself with a towel (ˈtauǝl).
He keeps many fowls
and counts them every day.
Last Sunday, he found some of the hen fowls
started laying eggs.
The hen fowls seem to make
a lot of sounds nowadays.

on the ground in the compound.

Wow-mow, the clown always thinks
the tower near his house has some magic power.
He always thinks the tower
has the power to revitalize him.
He likes to climb up to the top of the tower (/ˈtauǝ(r)/)
to look at the clouds and shout out loud.
He likes to say,
“I am proud of myself being a happy clown.”
